Victorian Baker's Bread Scales with original fittings, lead weights and tin pan one side, cast brass pan the other and in very good condition.

Bread had to be sold by weight in victorian times, or the baker was eligible to be fined.

These scales are for weighing the dough.

Will hang on a kitchen wall and always make a good talking point with people trying to guess their use.
