This is a shop drawer till made by Milner (so pre 1874 as they became Milner's Safe Co after that).

Pen tray and ceramic ink well for handwritten receipts. Brass fittings to lid, front and back name plaque.. Very good looking piece. Drawer and lid are in good order though not all the inner mechanism is still present. Great item to have on the  side to store car keys etc. Minor damage to side moulding.
