Rare 19th Cent Breast Plough

One from my collection. I bought this rare item many years ago. It is a Breast Plough from the outer Hebrides just under 6ft tall. I love the way they converted a tree branch and just added a handle and a blade.

These very primitive farm tools were shunted across the field to plough in the stubble before the onset of Burn Breaking. They were very hard to use and few survive today.
