Scarce Blacksmith-made Irish wrought iron harnen stand,  18th/ arly 19th c, used in front of a fire for drying oat cakes/ oat breads. This is the only one I have come across that had hooks to attach to the fire grate as opposed to having a fold out support bar. These have now got very scarce and make attractive features in an inglenook or hearth wall.
