Pair of English Seed Measures of the 'Mug Design'. Both early 1900, and, having had two different excise marks on them, suggesting that they were used in a seed merchant or similar and that 'weights and measures' had visited and restamped them to check that they hadn't been cut down - hence underselling the seed. These are in lovely condition as so often split with great patination. ONE PINT AND HALF PINT
