Antique Baker's Bread Rasp

These strange items were used by Baker's when they had burnt the corner of a loaf. Thus they would rasp off the burnt bit so it was more attractive to sell on. This rasp is larger than others i have seen and dates to the late 1800's. It is marked ENCORE Thomas Turner & Co, Sheffield.
