Cheesmaker's Bentwood Curd Strainer from a museum that sold up in Suffolk. I have never seen one of these before. It is made from Oak. Muslin was held in place by the hoop and the strainrer stands on it's own legs while curd cheese was placed inside the whey was strained out through the muslin and holes. Mkaes a very nice fruit bowl too!
