Rare English Gin Trap with side sprung coil and being of compact shape. The trip plate is not centred as the jaw holding the spring obviously needed a bit more room to function hence this is off to the side slightly. Ideal compact trap for setting in difficult places however relying on a single coiled spring must have been it's let down and hence it's scarcity. now illegal to use.
