Spectacular large carved swag over 1 metre long! I am amazed that it has survived unbroken bearing in mind how thin it gets at the connecting cord areas. Lion's Head at top followed by Pomegranates, ribbons and fruits. Good patina and deeply carved it would look superb on a tall thin piece of wall at the side of a door or fireplace. There is one slight section that must have had a slight tail to a bow or similar that has been damaged and levelled up on the other side to balance, this is only noticeable on close inspection other than that everything looks complete. Carved from one piece of wood.
