Early design of Milner Safe Plate. Heavy pressed brass and very decorative and good detailing. Depicts Lion and Unicorn, various human figures and MILNERS PATENT FIRE RESISTING. The dates on the side say 1857.

Would look good over a fireplace etc. Good condition and NOT rubbed through.
