Antique Beech Wood Dairy Bowl with good patina. Condition generally good. There is evidence of some wood worm though this has been treated and previously filled. There is a small slice taken off one edge of the bowl. This is typical of a good early bowl. It created a flat area so the bowl could be tipped to rest on the table top while the cream was being whisked etc and as such is completely authentic.

This bowl would be great for fruit or filled with pine cones etc as a centre piece.
