Rare Colman's Mustard Barrel Tin

Rare Early 1900's J & J Colman Mustard Tin Barrel This large English mustard tin is shaped like a wood barrel with wood grain and stays. The lid is a hinged lift-top. There is also a bail handle. The front of the barrel is decorated with a silver bull's head on a shield. The inside of the lid reads "J&J Colman Ltd. Purveyors Of Mustard To The King". The barrel is in good condition, all of the metal has a patina. There are scrapes and scratches on all sides of the barrel. The bottom of the barrel is intact but has had a bit of filler on a rust hole.  The tin is solid. Lid seals tight. Handles on lid and tin move freely. Great tin for a collector. It measures 7 1/2" tall and 7 3/4" across the bottom.
