Stunning, Huge 18th Cent Wooden Platter

Quite simply, the best 18th cent wooden food platter you are ever going to find! It has the best patination and signs of age and wear. The centre has a dip where years of chopping has worn away a saucer shaped hollow. The dish is 3cm longer in one direction where the wood has shrunk along the grain from when it was originally turned. The underside has wonderful turning. This is a superb example of an early platter. Do I want to keep it - yes! Do I have room for it - not really, as I have other items that I don't wish to part with to take its place. Saying that I will offer it for sale for a while but it could well end up back in my house . . .
