Nice quality antique string holder. These were used in shops, butchers and kitchens alike. The ball of string went inside and it hangs down through the loops at the base. It could then be pulled and cut as needed to tie parcels, joints of meat etc. This one has its clip connector in working order and the ball is in good condition too.
