Antique Housemaid's Box Timothy Whites

Housemaid's Box with it's original tray and fittings complete. Used to carry hearth brushes and polishes for Housemaid's chores. Labelled on both sides Timothy Whites.

By 1890, Timothy Whites was one of four British pharmacists with over ten branches. They sold hardware as well as that which was normally found at a retail chemist's. In 1904 he had his company incorporated as Timothy Whites Ltd.
