Antique Baker's Dough Proving Board

Larger size Baker's Dough Proving Tray made of Sycamore. Dough was cut and rolled into shape and left to prove on these trays. This is the larger size and used for full loaves.

Makes an ideal fruit tray on the centre of a kitchen table etc. Also ideal for bread and cheese during lunch as it doesn't take up much room. Now difficult to find old ones in good condition. See also our smaler ones which were for bread rolls.
