Rare Antique Butter Scales made from Sycamore (which didn't taint the taste of the butter).
These are very rare to find, I have had justt four sets in over 30 years.
This set is in immaculate condition. Sycamore is very prone to woodworm and in particular if left in the cold damp conditions of a dairy. These scales are totally worm free. Both pans are in good condition and the scales balance well.
