This is a fine Victorian cast iron stick stand of open looped design, panelled sides and comes from the most important foundry of the industrial revolution in the UK.
Marked C B Dale (Coalbrookdale) on base and pattern number 330925 it is also date (Kite) marked on many of the surfaces. The date of this piece is 1849. The item is in excellent condition and has merely been burnished and waxed to maintain the correct look. It has the original drip tray to base and brass finials to top.
