Extremely rare 19th cent Shepherd's Brazier. Carried into the fields with hot coals and used to heat up the tail docking and searing irons. This one has the typical rams curl handles. String could be attached to these and the brazier swung up and dsown to get the air through the vents thus warming up the fire box more. This one is in good overall condition but has had a repair to the base where it has worn through at some point but otherwise is in good original condition.
