Fine, 19th Cent. flat-sided, Costrel, typical of the West Country, Wiltshire and Welsh borders area. Used to take Cider, Scrumpy and Ale into the fields during harvest time. This one is in oak with good, original patina. The leather thong handle is completely original too. The peg was removed to let air in while drinking from the mouth piece.
