This cosy Fisherman’s Cottage is ideally located just 100 yards from the harbour and nestled in delightful Jolly Sailor Yard, part of East Quay, Wells Next-the-Sea. The cottage has been recently renovated to a high standard with Lime washed beams, curved walls, old floorboards and finger latch doors using Farrow & Ball colours, everything you would expect from a seaside retreat!

Wells-Next-the-Sea is a quaint fishing port full of character and history. The harbour still has working crab and lobster boats along with the Albatross, the Dutch sailing barge moored on the quay. The stunning sandy beach with it’s colourful 200 beach huts is a short walk away along the rideway. Narrow streets wind from the harbour to the Butlands, a Georgian square surrounding the town green.

Oyster cottage is tucked away in the conservation area of East Quay where some of the cottages date back to the mid 1600s. Wells-Next-the-Sea is just part of the wonderful North Norfolk coast. Miles of sandy beaches, beautiful countryside and renowned restaurants and pubs have made this area one of the top ‘all year’ destinations in the UK. This diverse coastline forms part of the largest nature reserve in England with up to 5000 seals and some of the best birdwatching in the country. The lovely Georgian towns of Holt and Burnham Market are nearby as well as Blakeney, Brancaster, Holkham and Cromer.
