5 Early French Boules

19th Cent French 'Armadillo' type Boules. Made with hob nails knocked into wooden balls making these fabulous and heavy bowling balls, each one similar size to a Navel orange. Copper nails have been used to mark each one with initial etc. Very sculptural and tactile objects for any coffee table. These ones are flatter in texture and acompanied by a brass boule
