Rare late 1700's/Early 1800s, Brass Tinder Box, complete with candle holder, strike, flint and some Georgian fabric. The lid forms the candle holder. Inside there is a flint, a rare metal striker and some early fabric to light. Outside the pinwork decoration is typical of this date. Candles could also be stored inside. Fascinating item that predates matches.
