A particularly fine example of a larger size, quality Horse Singer in copper and brass combo. Parrafin went in the handle and a large wick burnt at the broad end with a wide flame. Horses that had overwintered outside could have their long straggly hairs singed off using this tool. The design was still the same in catalogues of 1820.
