19th Cent Norfolk Deadfall Mouse Trap in oak in working order.

These old traps turn up from time to time in this area and are typical to Norfolk.

As a design they date back to the 17th and 18th centuries.

The raised block of wood is tripped when the mouse runs on the trip plate inside the tunnel.

Down comes the block and one squashed mouse later!

Nicely made with wood pegged oak
