Early, Wax Winder Candlesticks

Here we have four, particularly nice, early country candlesticks, with fruitwood or chestnut bases. Complete with winders that are so often missing.

Candles were expensive in the late 1700/early 1800s. These candlesticks allowed the user to wind the candle up so they burnt right down to the stub.
