Rare child's Harvest Barrel (Oak)

Rare small size child's Harvest Barrel, Oak with all four original iron hoops in place. There is a mouthpiece for drinking and an air hole which would have had a wooden peg that could be removed to allow air in when drinking. Original wire loop handle.

The whole family went into the fields at harvest time and this barrel would have had Blackberry wine or a watered down beer or similar. It is too small for use by an adult.
