Adjustable Lyre Gag, used to keep the animal's mouth open to administer medicines. This is a rare small size used for sheep. Almost certainly made by Arnold & Sons, though not marked. Excellent quality with a rosewood handle. I have only had 2 or 3 of these in 40 years!
