This is a large sixe Clog maker's Knife which hooked into a hasp on the end of his bench. It could then be used to hone out the wooden clog soles. I have also seen a Sussex Trug maker use one of these too. Very sculptural piece, would look great on a wall as a display item or indeed for use.
