Fine, flat-sided, drum shaped Costrol or Harvest Barrel. Unusual shape, These were used to take Cider, Scrumpy and Ale into the fields during harvest time. This one is in oak remnants of original old blue-green cart paint typical of the end of the 1800's. Chain for a carrying handle. Some old wood worm holes but all totally treated by us.
