19th Cent Pig Scraper

Fine example of an early Hog Scraper or Pig Scudder. Once a pig was killed, it was rolled in a tampered down bofire to singe its bristles. Onece placed on a pig bench the hairs were removed using such a scraper. The hook was used to pull out the tendons.
